Police near central Connecticut said Rober Michelson called 911 Thursday and asked a dispatcher just how much trouble he’d be in for growing a plant. That plant was specifically a marijuana plant.

Michelson called from his home phone, allowing police officers to smoke him out. Police found a small amount of marijuana at Michelson’s home, and other drug paraphernalia. Michelson was arrested and released on bond.

Michelson made an obscene gesture to the dispatchers as he left the station, police said.

Caller:”

I was just growing some marijuana and I was just wondering what the .. how much, you know, trouble you can get into for one plant.”

911 Operator:

“You’re growing marijuana and you want to know how much.. it depends on how big the plant is.”

Caller:

“It’s only a seedling.”

911 Operator:
“Well, it’s possession. You can get pinched for a roach in a car.”

Caller:
“All right. Thanks for the info.”

911 Operator:
“You’re welcome.”

Californians who use medical marijuana outside of work would be protected from job dismissal due to pot use under a bill that has been introduced by state Sen. Mark Leno, D-San Francisco.

The bill, SB129, would make it illegal for an employer to consider either a worker’s status as a registered patient or a positive drug test when making hiring and firing decisions. The bill would not change existing laws that bar employees from using medical marijuana at the workplace or during work hours.

Cheba Hut caters to an awesome demographic – those that enjoy cannabis! A fine example is the place is painted in bright greens, yellows and reds and the walls are plastered with Pro Prop-19 and Bob Marley posters. This however isn’t the important part, the important part is the incredible food!

The menu consisted of mostly sandwhiches, in three sizes: Nugs (4”), Pinners (8”) and Blunts (12”). My girlfriend and I shared a White Widow Blunt (Bacon Chicken Ranch sandwhich) and a bowl of Chicken Enchillada Soup (They actually used real enchilida sauce as a base, which was orgasmic), we also picked up a Cap’n'Crunch Crunch Berries Rice Krispy Treat for later

The sandwhiches are all named after popular breeds of cannabis! They also have their own signature sauces and condiments including an amazing ‘spicy mayo’

They also offered ‘Cotton Mouth Cures’ (Drinks) which included Kool-Aid ON TAP. This right here is worth going for.

Now, at this point I was considering scrapping the whole plan. I was way too high and the theater was about 15 minutes away, in good traffic. I thought to myself while looking at my girlfriend, who I knew wanted to see Olivia Wilde in 3-D as much as I did, and I knew, I had to do this.

“It’s just like a video game! Stay between the lines and keep the meter at 65″ this was my mantra. I had recently been shown the game G.R.I.D by the owner of RMR, so I had the race driver mindset going on.

It was a Friday morning, 10AM, it was sunny, no clouds, great visibility. Despite this, I instantly thought every single fucking car was a cop. Because of this, and me wanting to win the game (Which at this point was my girlfriend, best friend and I arriving at the theater alive), I was driving like a champ. I was a nervous wreck, but a champ nonetheless. My nervousness caught up to me as we got onto the second freeway towards the movie theater. I instantly started feeling as if every other car was veering towards me, whether or not they were actually in the lane next to me. I almost yelped when a big-rig drove alongside me for about a mile, I kept ‘seeing’ it swerve out the corner of my eye, even though in reality it was perfectly fine. Luckily the parking lot was completely empty, even so, I had to make three attempts to park the car.

The story was much harder to transcribe than I had expected, so my apologies in advance if it reads a little funny.

We made it to the theater in one piece, with my friends car just as good as when we started. I was stoked to have made it, even though there really hadn’t been any close calls. I still managed to see Tron at a [7]! It was epic and I think my eyes came.

Still, even after surviving and making it without any real issues, I don’t think I’m going to sit in the driver seat while high anytime soon. I’d rather be sitting in this chair, writing these boringgggg blog posts Here’s a comic for sitting through this.

For the time being, I’ll go by ‘Ctc’ . I’m 23, I live in Southern California and I currently spend most of my days sitting in front of my computer, playing video games, browsing various websites or writing blogs and although this might sound like an awesome time, I’d prefer to be working… Here’s to unemployment, hah.
I’m a real-life friend of the owner of the site and I wanted to help out, so I’m starting off by making some contributions to the blog.

Now, seeing as it’s my first post, I thought a fitting topic would be ‘The first time’. I started thinking about this a few days ago while packing a bowl with some friends. These days, I smoke on a very regular basis, probably four to five times a week, I own a couple of pieces (I’ll make a post about this later), I’ve enjoyed blunts, bongs, pipes, gravity bongs, edibles, vapes and even ghetto-rigs like apples and soda cans. Not too bad considering I’ve only been enjoying the herb for close to a year now.

Growing up I despised marijuana. I hated that my friends did it, I hated that they seemed so stupid when they were using it, I hated the culture, the smells, etc, to the point where I actually stopped hanging out with them! It drove me crazy, enough to where at one time I was a self-proclaimed ‘straight edge’ (HA!).

Truth be told… it was actually film that me to change my mind. Movies like ‘Knocked Up’, ‘Superbad’ and ‘Pineapple Express’ all seemed to do nothing but change my view on weed, it even started to make it look socially acceptable. I don’t know why it is that this is what my brain took from watching these movies, but it was. After my first viewing of Pineapple Express I told a friend I was interested in trying it, to see what all the fuss was about. He was so eager to see me try it, he called his dealer over almost immediately and they rolled what would be my first blunt.

We sat around a table in his backyard for about an hour – four of us went through two decent sized blunts (Might have been a bit overboard for my first time, but I am a big guy, so I figured I’d handle it like a champ), I don’t remember much of that evening but here are some key parts:

• Standing up for the first time after having smoked. Every other step I took, I almost instantly forgot, it made me feel like I was almost walking through time. I absolutely loved it.
• Cottonmouth – I know most people hate it, but I loved it. A friend fed me saltine crackers and my mouth literally felt like a concrete mixer. Sounds stupid but I enjoyed it.
• Refusing a glass of water because I was too terrified to hold it. I knew anything going in my hands was a bad idea, my whole body just felt great and relaxed.
• I felt as if all my senses had been hightened. Movies became a whole new experience. Dramas were more… Dramatic! Comedies more… comedic! etc.
• Food. Oh my god. As if food couldn’t get any better? Well, I guess it could!

After this event, I studied more about marijuana. I wanted to know more of the effects it has on a person, temporary and long-term. I wanted to know more about the legal issues and ramifications of getting caught. Luckily, CA is a little bit more lenient about the whole thing than most. After countless conversations with friends, strangers and even family, I decided it was something that I liked doing, and didn’t seem to stop me from accomplishing things. Eventually I met my current girlfriend (who feels the same way about marijuana that I do) and we started buying our own stuff, getting our own pieces and enjoying it freely.

Anyways, I really hope that didn’t bore anyone too much. I know it’s not a terribly exciting story but it’s my first time none the less. It literally shaped the way I felt about the drug, and opened my eyes to it. It wasn’t  a terrible gateway drug, it didn’t ruin my life. It makes me feel good when I want to feel good. It helps with my stomach problems, it helps with my tooth aches and it helps with stress. It makes food better, it makes movies better, hell, it makes sex better! If I need to ‘snap out of it’ in an emergency, I can do it (unlike alcohol, normally) and if I do do it, it effects for me for a couple hours at most and it’s over… WITH NO HANGOVER!
